Advertising

You can support the Belfast Curling Club by advertising your business in our ice house or on our website.

Ice House Ads

Over 150 members, several hundred non-members, and several hundred out-of-state visitors curl in our icehouse each season (late October through March). Additionally, our club boasts an inviting warm room with a bar, where spectators view the action. In 2022 we began livestreaming our events, bringing the ice house action to many more remotely.

There are two types of ice house advertisements: wooden wall signs in the shape of a curling stone and slightly smaller ads embedded in the ice surface within view of the warm room.

We have a total of twenty Curling Stone Wall Signs. The cost is $280 for the first year as it includes the cost of making the sign. It is then $150/year to renew. Signs can be purchased at any time and it typically takes two weeks to produce and install.

We currently have six places in the ice for In-Ice Advertisements. The cost is $350 the first year, which includes production, then $200/year to renew. In-Ice advertisements must be ordered by no later than August 1 to allow time for new ad production, followed by the placement of all ads in the ice during pre-season icemaking.

Website Ads

Our newly re-designed website is visited by those interested in learning about or trying the sport of curling, by curlers from other clubs interested in coming to Belfast to compete, and frequently by our members as a resource. This is a year-round advertising opportunity.

We currently have 3 spots for sponsor logos on our website footer, which remains at the bottom of every page that is viewed. The logos can be linked to the sponsors’ websites. The cost is $350/year.
