2025 Elisabeth Childs Challenge Bonspiel

Bonspiel Details
- Open to women curlers who are 21 years or older and have 5 or fewer years of curling experience.
- 24 team maximum. Three games guaranteed. Four Medal events.
- $500 per team. Entry fees due by January 15, 2025.
- Registration opens December 1, 2024 and closes January 3, 2025.
- Each GNCC club can register 1 team. Additional teams will be wait listed and spots will be filled as available.
- BCC will initially be allowing all teams to register. If more than 24 teams register, BCC will determine clubs with excess entries as to which team(s) to include. Teams having to be excluded will then receive a refund. We apologize for this inconvenience!
Rules
- The bonspiel rules will follow the “GNCC 5-and-Under” bonspiel rules. Download the rules HERE.
- All other rules are based on the USCA rules.
- Any other specific rules will be distributed to the participating teams prior to the event.
- All teams must have four (4) players to start each game.
Eligibility
- All curlers must meet the GNCC eligibility requirements.
- Each team will submit a completed and signed eligibility form: Download Eligibility Form HERE.
National Qualifier
- The 2025 Elisabeth Childs Challenge is a 5-and-Under National Qualifier. Learn more about the national qualification procedure HERE.
- The 2025 5 & Under National Championship will be held at the St Paul Curling Club Read more about it HERE.
- All GNCC teams that want to qualify for USA Curling Nationals must also be members of USA CURLING. Information about USA Curling membership can be found HERE.
Lodging
- The Fireside Inn is seven minutes from the curling club, all rooms have an ocean view, and there is an indoor pool and hot tub. $89.99, double occupancy. Call 207-338-2090 and ask for the curling rate.
